Balneário Camboriú needs 2 days: touring Praia Central beneath its skyline of tall towers, nicknamed the «Brazilian Dubai», on one, and riding the Unipraias cable car, which links the central beach with Laranjeiras and Taquaras beaches over the Atlantic rainforest, on the other. December-March brings the Brazilian summer, high season. It's mid-to-upper priced for southern Brazil. In a few decades it went from a quiet beach town to the Brazilian city with the most skyscrapers per capita, including the Infinity Coast Tower, one of South America's tallest residential buildings.
