Necochea

Necochea needs 2 days: Argentina's widest beach, with over 500 meters of sand to the water at low tide, on one, Miguel Lillo Park, an artificial forest of over 500 hectares by the mouth of the Quequén River, on the other. December-March is high season. It's cheaper than Mar del Plata or Pinamar. It's one of the few resort towns on the Argentine Atlantic coast with its own navigable river, the Quequén, which separates the town from Quequén city (with its deep-water port) and offers fishing and boating in addition to the beach.
