A tree-covered slope in the Retiro neighbourhood, at the end of pedestrian Florida Street, with jacarandas, tipa trees and a great ombú. The equestrian monument to General San Martín presides over it, ringed by some of the city's most elegant buildings, such as the San Martín Palace and the Kavanagh. At its foot stands the Malvinas/Falklands War memorial.
