National Gallery of Victoria
The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), Australia's oldest and most-visited art gallery, comprises two impressive buildings: NGV International and the Ian Potter Centre. Together, they offer a diverse range of exhibitions, programmes and events in the heart of Melbourne. With contemporary art, historical exhibitions, fashion and design, the NGV attracts millions of visitors every year and ranks among the 20 most popular galleries in the world. General admission to the NGV is free and it is open every day from 10am to 5pm. Special ticketed exhibitions have an admission fee.
