Roseau needs 3 days: a trek to Boiling Lake, the second-largest boiling lake in the world, on one, diving or snorkeling at Champagne Reef, with natural volcanic bubbles rising from the seafloor, on another, and an excursion through Morne Trois Pitons National Park -a UNESCO World Heritage Site- on the third. December-April is best. It's mid-priced, with nature and diving tourism more than beach tourism. It's nicknamed the Caribbean's "Nature Island" for its nearly untouched volcanic terrain, with over 365 rivers, the region's highest density of hot springs, and tropical forest covering 60% of its territory.
