Warsaw needs 3 days: the old town (rebuilt after World War II) on one, the Warsaw Uprising Museum on another, and the modern Wola district on the third. May-September brings the best weather. It's among the cheapest capitals in the European Union. Its old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was rebuilt brick by brick after being nearly completely destroyed during World War II, using 18th-century paintings as reference, a unique case of meticulous historical reconstruction in Europe.
