Doolin

Doolin needs 2 days: walking the edge of the Cliffs of Moher, which drop 214 meters sheer into the Atlantic along 8 km, on one, and a night of live traditional Irish music at one of its pubs, considered among the country's best for it, on the other. May-September brings the mildest weather, though the wind on the cliffs is strong year-round. It's inexpensive by Irish standards. Its cliffs, one of Ireland's most photographed landscapes and a filming location for movies like «Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince», draw over 1.5 million visitors a year, and the village itself, with just a few hundred residents, is considered the unofficial capital of traditional Irish music for the density of spontaneous sessions in its pubs.
