Münster needs 1 day: the historic Town Hall, where the 1648 Peace of Westphalia was signed, ending the Thirty Years' War, in a morning walk, and a bike ride through the city center, in the afternoon. April-October is best. It's inexpensive by German standards. It's considered Germany's bicycle capital, with more bikes than residents and a cycling infrastructure that made it a model for urban mobility for other European cities.
