Casablanca

Casablanca needs 2 days: the Hassan II Mosque (one of the largest in the world, with the tallest minaret) on one, and the Art Deco center and the corniche on the other. March-May brings mild weather. It's more expensive than other Moroccan cities, reflecting its status as the country's economic and financial center. It's Morocco's most populous city and its economic engine, though paradoxically it has less traditional tourist appeal than Marrakech or Fez, except for the Hassan II Mosque, whose 210-meter minaret makes it one of the tallest in the world.
