Banc d'Arguin National Park

Banc d'Arguin is a migratory bird sanctuary on the Atlantic coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: sandbanks and shallow waters where millions of birds gather every European winter, one of the world's most important wintering sites for species that breed in the Arctic. The Imraguen fishermen, who live inside the park, still fish using traditional methods with sailboats, no engines.
